Welcome to the beautiful and peaceful Sleutelstad (Key City), where we'll delve into the rich history and vibrant culture of Leiden's Golden Age on this 90-minute free tip-based walking tour. Explore the picturesque canals, windmills, cathedrals & hidden courtyards while uncovering stories of the Pilgrims and the Dutch Masters. This Free, Tip-Based Tour will make 12+ stops, beginning at the stunning Molen De Valk and finishing at the panoramic fortress of De Burcht. On our walk, we will focus on Leiden's First Golden Age. In 90 minutes, we will uncover beautiful Bridges, hidden Hofjes, historic Homes, and their associated stories - which have been inspiring travellers and adventurers for hundreds of years. This tour is presented in English, but is available in Spanish.
